Important guidelines for using activated charcoal:
3 to 5 capsules as needed.
Best when taken at least 3 hours after dinner and before bedtime.
Do not ever take activated charcoal at the same time as other supplements. Give at least 2 hours between use.
At the very least, drink half of your body weight in ounces of water when using activated charcoal.
